Cooper's FIRST EVER Birthday Party!

It was only fitting for my little Cooper Monster to get 48 Cookie Monster cupcakes for his party! Grandma Riesen helped me and we frosted, coated in sugar, gave them little eyes and a fat cookie in their mouths!

He loves his new truck! Notice the roller coaster in the background? Yes, that is still taking up most of my living room including the entire entryway! And if you don't watch your step, you will get smacked by David flying down the track!

Opening presents with friends.

Proud of my little Cooper Monster!

Awww, I remember him holding Baby David on his first birthday before he got cleaned up after his cake too!

Look at that butt!!

Papa John sneaking him candy!

He liked it a little too much!

Cake Drunk! I know the feeling all too well!

Pumpkin Patch

Cooper turned ONE last Tuesday and we spent the afternoon at the pumpkin patch with friends. We went to the Orr Family Farm in Moore and it was so nice! It was a little pricey since they charge for adults but overall nice.
I could NOT get a good picture of the two of them. It was soooo windy that day.
Ladies Man

Can you believe my child got this close to a giant pig? YUK! He didn't want to touch the nose though thankfully.

Every little boy deserves to get really dirty on their birthday!

Be vewy, vewy quiet! I'm hunting wabbits!

He took a step!

I have been trying to take more pictures lately! Here is the proof:

Helping in the kitchen. Ha!

At first Cooper didn't like wearing the bowl hat, then he realized it got him alot of attention.

I'm gonna get you, you better run!

I love cake donuts! Look at that face! Ahhhhh. . .

My little learner. We started a home pre-school program a few weeks ago and he loves it. He's always saying, "Mom, can I do more school??? Please!"

So proud!

I can stand on my own now!

Look what I can do!

It doesn't taste that old. . .

MMMMMMHHHHHH. . . Nothing like day old chocolate milk!
And now for the grand finale. . . Here is a video of Cooper's first ever STEP! Yep, he'll be running in no time!

Past few weeks

I realize I have been terrible about sending pics lately so hopefully these will satisfy you for awhile!

We went to the fair last weekend and the boys got their pic taken with some sea lions! They were a little too friendly, if you ask me!

I finally let David ride the carousel at the zoo. I usually lie and say we don't have any money. So since my friends let their kids do it I had to cave, surprisingly it was only $1. I expected $5. Silly me. . .

I love this fatty cheeseburger.

We toured a firestation a few weeks ago and he was just in awe. The fire chief kept calling David, Chief, and he just thought he was the coolest. He now knows "Stop, Drop and Roll" and to call 911 in an emergency (although he still can't recognize a 9 on a phone!)

Got a cool tat!

Every 3 year old should experience the jaws of life, up close and personal.

What time is lunch?
Love yall!

Weekend Fun!

I found this cool tutorial online to sew super easy super hero capes and it is the first sewing project I FINISHED in about 6 months. I have been a little burned out since the cloth diaper obsession!

He looks so proud!
He wanted a green Batman since he has like 4 batman costumes and PJ's! I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween and he wants to be Batman (even though he wears his costume 24/7!) So at least I don't have to buy him a new costume (Thanks Dad and Pam!)

He was actually a little upset that I put a D instead of an S because he doesn't yike (that's like in David speak) Super David, he only yikes Superman!

His favorite phrase, "I don't yike dat, I want somfing else."

He was very happy with my skills for about 5 seconds until he took it off and said "I don't want dis", and ran off. Yep, that's my kid, total brat!

Chase has started football practice for a few weeks and had his first scrimmage against the other middle schools today. It was alot of fun to watch him in action. John showed up and brought along my neice Shae. After that we went and had lunch at John and Dorothy's house and celebrated Shae's birthday.

I absolutely love this picture of them! It's like they have the same smile!

You can see Chase centered close to the sidelines, he's #65. He got to play alot though during the scrimmage. It was so cool to see him get agressive!

He is also in band during school and had to try out to be in the percussion section. He took a few drum lessons and got picked! Must take after his step-mother! Ha!
Anyway, hope you all have had a great weekend! One day left!

Update: Took Coop to the doc yesterday and he is not 20 lbs but 22lbs!! I love my scale until I found out it has been lying to me all this time. . .

Happy Boys

Cooper is 10 months old now! He has 6 teeth! He has 4 on bottom and 2 on top. He has the cutest grin when he scrunches up his nose and you can see all his teeth. He can say mama, possibly dada and bubu (for brother). He can sign "more" and "eat". He can easily pull himself up on anything. He tries to climb things but just isn't strong enough yet. He can almost walk behind a push walker but usually falls after two steps. He likes to help me cook by getting out all of my pots and lids and banging them on the tile. It is just music to my ears! Ha! Not really! His hair is coming back in fast and its definitely strawberry blond. He weighs 20 lbs. He would eat all day if I let him. He gets 3 meals a day and usually will go around and finish David's meals too. He won't let me feed him anymore so I have to let him feed himself. Thank goodness for the dogs or my kitchen would be so gross. He throws food and takes his hands and thrashes them back and forth across his tray! He loves playing with David but David is not always as happy to play with him.

At the Zoo

David will take all of his little cars and trucks and line them up on every flat surface in the house. He likes to group things by size and color. David's favorite toys are anything to do with Batman. He has a batman costume and 2 sets of batman pjs that are being worn 24/7. He still loves to watch tv and would watch all day if I let him! He is such a picky eater! He loves fruit though so that is the only way to get any good nutrients in him. He would prefer to eat cookies and chips!
At the Splash Pad

Chase has started 7th grade and is in junior high now! He is on the football team too. He has a scrimmage Saturday so hopefully we will get to see him in action.

Zoo Fun!
Anyway, that is the extent of our lives lately! Love you all and thanks for reading!

I will leave you all this video of Cooper giggling! It just makes my heart melt!
